Ryebank Fields
Ryebank Fields is a student project still in progress which showcases the connection between environmental activists and community members to Manchester’s Ryebank Fields. These fields are an unique, rewilded natural area unlike anywhere else in Manchester (UK). Activists are currently living on the land to prevent Manchester Metropolitan University from turning the land into unaffordable housing, destroying the rewilded park. This short film attempts to capture the beautiful relationship between the people and their local park. In attempt to protect people’s identity and keep anonymity, no faces are shown in this video.
Film coming soon.
