I am a Visual Anthropologist working at the intersection of research, writing, and cultural interpretation. My work is guided by a commitment to cross-cultural education, social justice, and a deeply human-centered approach to understanding how people think, communicate, and make meaning in the world.

Through ethnographic research, documentary film, and interpretive writing, I help parks, museums, and cultural heritage sites translate complex ideas into experiences that resonate with broad audiences. I believe that education is one of the most powerful tools that we have in the modern age.

My core values also guide my approach to community outreach. I work with organizations to build relationships with communities whose voices deserve to be heard and respected. My goal is to create the conditions for collaborative, reciprocal partnerships where communities have real agency in how their stories are told while also avoiding extractive relationships.

Outside of my research and consulting work, I am a creative writer and visual artist. I see making art as inseparable from my practice as it keeps me curious, imaginative, and attuned to the ways storytelling shapes how we understand ourselves and each other.
